We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drafter to join our team at MKS Instruments. As a key member of our R&D product development team, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, controlling, and maintaining accurate documentation of 3D and 2D models and files.

• Generate detailed solid models and drawings of components and assemblies
• Manage, generate, and/or implement ECO changes to components and assembly documentation
• Establish and enforce drafting/documentation standards
• Manage PDM vault and enforce procedural standards
• Convert CREO CAD files to Solidworks files
• Manage the documentation of labels, PCBAs, and cable drawings
• Create and document tooling layouts
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to establish and document fabrication processes
• Verify design intent and mates in solid model assemblies

• Associate's degree in Drafting or related field
• 3+ years of experience supporting mechanical design group
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with CREO and SolidWorks; PDM experience is a plus
• Experience with ECO and new product development processes in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Working knowledge of drafting standards and ASME Y14.5
• Problem resolution skills applied to providing solutions for design and assembly techniques, technologies, and concepts

• Salary Pay Range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year
