Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Cardiology Specialist for a challenging opportunity in non-invasive cardiology. This locum tenens position offers a unique blend of clinical and call responsibilities.

Job Highlights:

  • Location: Belleville, IL
  • Clinical Setting: Inpatient
  • Call Schedule: Shared among 8 cardiologists (1:5 ratio)
  • Patient Volume: 20-25 adults per day
  • Procedures: Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

About the Position:

This role requires an experienced cardiologist to provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a busy inpatient setting. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of 8 physicians, sharing call responsibilities in a 1:5 ratio. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, with two weeks of on-call duty per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiography and electrocardiogram procedures
  • Provide clinical care to adult patients in an inpatient setting
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities with a team of 8 cardiologists

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois medical license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • COVID-19 vaccine

Compensation: Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC estimates this position offers a competitive salary range of $250,000-$300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are also provided.
