As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering speech, language, and swallowing services to patients through evaluation, goal determination, and development of treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

* Perform direct speech therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted speech therapy standards, State of Maryland Speech Therapy Practice Act, code of ethics, and departmental procedures.
* Record patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and care provided in the medical record, in accordance with departmental documentation standards.
* Participate in performance improvement activities and suggest areas for improvement to colleagues in a tactful and considerate manner.
* Propose performance improvement topics and alternate treatment techniques to improve speech therapy services.
* Assume responsibility to resolve or report clinical and operational issues to department leadership for resolution, in order to assure high quality care, and efficient departmental operations.

Requirements:

* Master's Degree, required.
* One (1) year of related experience, preferred.
* Current limited or licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Maryland, required.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility, required.
* Current ACLS or BCLS certification, required.
