Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with their health needs, including conducting basic medical examinations and recording patient history.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting patient interactions and treatments provided.
  • Support nurse practitioners and physicians with clinical tasks and procedures.
  • Educate patients on health management, medication instructions, and preventive care.
  • Perform basic clinical procedures such as wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic testing.
  • Coordinate patient care by communicating with other healthcare providers and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Requirements:
  • MUST have an active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the State of VA.
  • 1-year of experience in a hospital, medical office/clinic or urgent care setting required.
  • Phlebotomy skills and use of EMR.
  • BLS Certification required.
