Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practices, working closely with our doctors and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental x-rays and preparing patients for exams.
- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health, promoting a positive impact on our community.
- Support patient charting for doctors, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary, collaborating with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice.
