Salary

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is determined by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish positive relationships with patients and their families, working collaboratively to provide infusion therapy, education, and clinical monitoring.
  • Assess patient suitability for home infusion therapy, considering safety, caregiver support, and willingness to become independent in therapy administration.
  • Document medical histories thoroughly and timely, particularly related to diagnoses treated with prescribed infusion therapy.
  • Complete all required clinical documentation, including nursing plans of care, visit notes, and medication profiles.
  • Participate in case conferences to comprehensively plan patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide skilled care to patients of varying ages and medical conditions, following physician orders and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, performing therapy-specific clinical assessments.
  • Communicate patient responses and overall physical assessments with care team members in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of infusion therapies and adhere to company policies, procedures, and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of MN and/or ND.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification.
  • 1+ years of experience working as an RN in a clinical care setting contributing to proficiency in infusion therapy.
  • Proficient electronic medical record documentation.
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
