Job Title: Senior Trader Brokerage

The Northern Trust Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trader Brokerage to execute stock trades and monitor security prices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that each trade is handled equitably and settled properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute stock trades with minimal market impact
  • Monitor security prices and market developments to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the investment industry
  • Inform portfolio managers of alternate trading strategies
  • Record, measure, review, and analyze trading performance, commission payments, and soft dollar commitments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience with trade processing in a fiduciary environment
  • Experience with analyzing effects of various market transactions, trading cash and program trades for internal and external clients, sending indications of interest, and working according to securities laws and regulations
