Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate physician orders and document patient history, positioning, and imaging
  • Work closely with radiologists and the mammography team to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assist radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and integrity
  • Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors
  • Behave in accordance with the Code of Conduct, Service Excellence Standards, and the Mission, Vision, and Values of Trinity Health
  • Assume responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner
  • Monitor patient condition before and during procedures for tolerance and comfort
  • Provide accurate diagnostic image identification and critique image quality
  • Collect and forward completed diagnostic images for interpretation and results reporting
  • Work directly with radiologists to determine next steps and provide patient hand-off to other technical staff
Requirements
  • Completion of a JCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by ARRT or registry-eligible and must achieve Mammography-certification within six months of hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain sterilization, isolation, and infection control techniques
