This is a critical role on our team, requiring someone with in-depth knowledge of HVAC / Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls. As an HVAC Controls Project Specialist, you will oversee the commissioning, diagnosis, and repair of environmental-control systems. You will design hardware and software for small building automation systems, ensuring efficient operation and quality results.
Your responsibilities will include managing multiple vendors and one subcontractor, overseeing projects from start to finish. You will work closely with contractors and owners to discuss project scope, performance, and schedules. To succeed in this role, you must have experience with field technicians and building automation systems (BAS) controls.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently. This role may involve exposure to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, and noisy operating equipment.
