As a vital member of the Emergency Department, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in critical situations. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for each patient, while also supervising and coordinating the efforts of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in alignment with the department's philosophy and standards.
- Collaborate with the Practice Coordinator to ensure effective patient management.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff in their daily activities.
- Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust plans as necessary.
- Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in California.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of one year of experience in emergency, telemetry, or critical care settings.
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within six months of starting the position.
- Completion of training for managing behavioral health patients is required within three months of hire and annually thereafter.
The pay range for this position starts at $64.14, with potential adjustments based on career progression.
