Job Overview

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team in Boston, Massachusetts.

This is an ongoing support role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Registered Nurses with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs. They will also respond to the needs of patients and family members, taking a proactive role in ensuring the efficient operation of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support RNs with clinical tasks such as glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs
  • Respond to patient and family needs
  • Take a proactive role in unit operations
Requirements
  • Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience required
  • Previous ESA/PCA experience required
  • Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross required
