- Patient Care: The specialist will ensure the physical and emotional comfort of patients by effectively communicating with them and their families throughout the imaging process, respecting privacy and dignity, and adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all scanning rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies, while also participating in routine cleaning and organization of the CT area.
- Scheduling Coordination: The specialist will be responsible for coordinating the daily schedule of imaging exams, ensuring timely processing of emergency and unscheduled requests, and maintaining effective communication with all relevant departments.
- Operational Support: The CT Imaging Specialist will assist in routine procedures, monitor patient conditions, and maintain compliance with quality assurance standards, while also addressing any equipment issues promptly.
- Emergency Protocols: In critical situations, the specialist will be expected to follow established protocols for immediate imaging and communication with radiologists to ensure optimal patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current certification/licensure as required for the position.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and emergency response protocols.
