We put patients at the center of value-based care. Our Competitive Compensation Package includes a $150,000 - $200,000 salary, an uncapped bonus structure, a sign on bonus, and a path to partnership. Additionally, we offer comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401K (matching), PTO, parental leave, medical malpractice, licensure, and board dues paid annually, as well as CME expense allotment and support providing relief from administrative burdens.

Job Description

We are seeking a well-trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care based in our Muncie and New Castle clinics with flexibility to float to other locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. As Upperline expands, this individual will be able to explore a wide range of career opportunities within the company.

The DPM will assess patients presenting lower extremity complaints, review their medical history, listen to their concerns, perform a physical examination, order appropriate imaging or medical labs, and develop and implement a clinical plan of care. They will also provide care for podiatric patients, administer advice and instructions on foot care, educate patients and families about general wellness care, medication usage, side effects, medical adherence, and prevention, maintain patient medical records, and participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure, possess strong compassion for patients and their families, have possession of DEA registration or eligibility, and obtain CPR certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to ensure effective interactions with patients, family caregivers, clinicians, and team members.
