We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at YesCare Corp. As a leading provider of correctional healthcare, we take pride in delivering high-quality services to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from medical school and completed an appropriate psychiatric residency. They must also be licensed to practice in the applicable state and certified by the Office of Mental Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for inmates referred by medical or clinical services staff.
- Conduct regular review of all inmates assigned to the Mental Health Unit and provide written summaries of history, diagnosis, and treatment course.
- Participate in treatment programming and planning for the Mental Health Unit, including discussion of problem cases, follow-up, and monitoring of medication.
- Approve admissions and discharges into the Mental Health Unit and sign off on treatment plans.
