HCA Florida JFK Hospital, a prominent healthcare provider in Palm Beach County, seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the growth and development of our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care services in accordance with departmental standards and relevant state and specialty guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conducting diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administering oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy as required.
  • Assisting with artificial airway placement and initiating, monitoring, and maintaining mechanical ventilation.
