Mold Remediation Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • The Mold Remediation Technician ensures a safe working environment for occupants and workers during the remediation process.
  • The MT installs containment barriers using plastic and solid materials and verifies decontamination equipment installation prior to commencement.
  • The MT controls contaminant sources and physically removes contamination.
  • The MT addresses moisture issues to prevent recontamination.
  • The MT maintains and provides required documentation.
  • The MT posts warning signs to identify potential hazards.
  • The MT ensures labor personnel use Personal Protection Equipment throughout hazardous area work.
  • The MT adheres to industry-approved guidelines for mold contamination remediation.
