Job Overview

We are seeking a Sustainability Professional - Climate Transformation Specialist to join our Strategy & Transformation team in the United States. This role will be responsible for developing productive relationships with clients, consulting on climate risk strategies, and providing detailed analysis on client challenges to help them achieve their sustainability goals.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in sustainability consulting, with experience in assessing and reporting climate change or environmental-related risks and opportunities. You will work closely with clients across multiple industries, including Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Fashion & Cosmetics, Sporting Goods, and Chemical sectors.

As a Sustainability Professional - Climate Transformation Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert to support the United States branch in climate risk assessment, mitigation strategies, scenario analysis, and primary risk reporting frameworks. You will also contribute to the development of materials to train the global delivery teams and participate in relevant internal discussions and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships:
    • Develop productive relationships with clients to enable transparent and authentic communication with the client and position Quantis as a trusted partner in achieving transformational sustainability goals.
    • Develop and present thoughts and ideas with clarity and in a way the client can understand and follow along with project highlights and needs.
    • Develop and produce clear and meaningful presentations that guide clients through the work being accomplished and connecting it with client challenges, needs, and goals.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Consult with clients and colleagues across multiple industries to assist them in understanding and implementing climate risk strategies.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert to support the United States branch in climate risk assessment, mitigation strategies, scenario analysis, and primary risk reporting frameworks.
    • Provide detailed analysis on client challenges, propose solutions, and execute on those solutions to help clients achieve their sustainability goals and overcome challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with consulting engagements focused on climate strategy, sustainability, ESG, and business risk & management. They will have a strong background in sustainability consulting, with experience in assessing and reporting climate change or environmental-related risks and opportunities.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $118,000/year-$130,000/year, depending on location and qualifications.
