Job Overview

At Sterling Engineering, we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to lead customer projects and provide innovative solutions for product enhancement. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering design, with experience in project leadership, product and process improvement, electrical design, programming, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead projects as an expert, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.
- Enhance product offerings and processes through electrical design and programming.
- Collaborate with customers to review plans and formulate installation strategies.
- Develop and implement vision systems for orientation and feature detection.
- Author project documentation, including manuals and lessons.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical engineering design experience.
- Proficient in electrical design, with experience in cyclic rotary motion and Ethernet/IP networks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
