About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Multimodality Technologist to join our Imaging team at Ascension Saint Thomas West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards, including the submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
