Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Clinical Social Worker

Fall River Health Service is seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker to join our team in Hot Springs, South Dakota. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with medical and clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to address dependencies, life adjustments, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Guide clients in developing skills and strategies to manage their problems and improve relationships.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
  • Act as a patient advocate to coordinate services and resolve emergency problems.

  • Establish therapeutic relationships with diverse clients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on risk level.
  • Refer clients to community resources and coordinate services.
  • Provide timely electronic health record documentation.
Requirements:
  • Counselor: Licensed or certified as a mental health counselor, clinical counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-PIP in South Dakota.
  • 2 years of documented supervised clinical experience in mental health counseling or clinical social work.
  • Social Worker: Master's or Doctorate in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited university, mental health counseling, clinical counseling, or psychology.
  • 2 years of documented supervised clinical experience in mental health counseling or clinical social work.

Average Salary: $49,920 - $56,160 per year, depending on experience.
