FLSA Status: Full - Time Hourly

Job Summary:

The Biosecurity Cleaning Person plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and biosecure environment for avian health within our facilities. This position upholds the professionalism and reputation of Hen Haven at all times.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage the reception and distribution of uniforms and company attire, ensuring proper inventory and organization.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in shared spaces, including break rooms, restrooms, and hallways.
  • Organize and maintain company storage areas.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning and biosecurity supplies available on-site.
  • Educate new team members on uniform placement and biosecurity protocols.
  • Address and resolve immediate issues encountered during daily tasks.
  • Report maintenance or management issues promptly when identified.
  • Handle laundry duties for towels, shoes, coveralls, and uniforms as required.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication with all staff and supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Relevant experience related to the responsibilities of this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Composure and calmness in challenging situations.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, and stand for extended periods.
