The primary purpose of this role is to administer nursing care in a nursing home setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisors, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer nursing care in a nursing home environment, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
