Transportation Specialist

Job Description
PET Dairy is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of trailers and equipment within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Receive instructions via radio and perform trailer shuttling to accommodate logistical needs.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on shuttle trucks and report any malfunctions.
- Document all trailer moves and submit reports to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience driving or shuttling tractor trailers preferred.
- Must meet minimum age requirements and DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records.
- Basic knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements.
