Job Title: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Biology

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Biology to join our department at The University of Texas at Arlington. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's research and teaching mission, with a focus on developing ground-breaking research in Integrative Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology.

Research Focus:

The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record or potential in the field of expertise, with a focus on cell signaling, genetics and epigenetics studies, especially from an integrative perspective. Candidates employing genomic and metabolomic approaches and with interests in interdisciplinary studies are especially encouraged to apply.

Teaching Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, with a focus on developing high-quality teaching using evidence-based practices to engage students from various backgrounds and experiences effectively.

Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or equivalent in one of the disciplines noted above or a related discipline that aligns with a focus on integrative molecular cell and developmental biology
  • Strong publication record or potential in the field of expertise
  • Strong research program with existing external funding or potential for funding
  • Commitment to quality teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels
