Job Summary

International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Ministry Leader to join our team in Hammond. As a Ministry Leader, you will be responsible for serving international students, fostering relationships with campus staff and organizations, and establishing partnerships with local churches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve International Students: Start a Bible study, host events, and maintain at least one discipleship relationship.
  • Register IFI as a Recognized Student Organization: Maintain registration and build a strong relationship with other campus international organizations.
  • Foster Relationships: Develop connections with campus staff and organizations.
  • Establish Partnerships: Begin to establish partnerships with local churches.
  • Mobilize Volunteers: Work to mobilize volunteers to help with IFI activities.
  • Develop Financial and Prayer Partnerships: Share the vision of the ministry and develop financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role.
Qualifications
  • Adherence to IFI's Statement of Faith: Adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies.
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate faithfulness, loyalty, and dedication to IFI's mandate to extend God's love globally.
  • Organizational Skills: Be well-organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Team Player: Be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under stress and be flexible.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people.
