Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Laundry Works. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with payment systems, machine selection, and operation. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, and escalate issues to the Store Manager as needed.
  • Store Safety and Security: Maintain a safe environment inside and outside the store by following proper security procedures and prioritizing employee and customer safety.
  • Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside the store at all times, following proper cleaning guides and routines.
  • Building and Equipment Maintenance: Document equipment and building maintenance issues, and escalate unsafe situations to the Store Manager.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of commercial laundry products and payment systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, ability to work with diverse individuals, multitasking, building strong customer relationships, and flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: Ability to speak English and/or Spanish, identification that establishes identity and right to work in the United States.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
