Job Overview

Ascent Environmental seeks an experienced Urban Design Specialist to lead our urban design and planning efforts. This role requires a highly skilled professional with advanced knowledge of urban design and planning principles, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the design development process, managing complex projects, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in urban design, planning, and community engagement will drive innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development process, including concept development, site analysis, and feasibility studies
- Manage complex projects, including coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results that meet their needs and expectations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in urban design and planning, with advanced knowledge of urban design and planning principles
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overtime required
