Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in support of, and as directed by, the physician.
- Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient's medical status during entire course of treatment.
- Perform assigned back office duties and rotate as a telephone triage nurse in an efficient and professional manner.
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school required.
- Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
