The salary for this position is up to $26.88 per hour.


Job Description

This Certified Nurse Aide role involves carrying out our Mission of Love by providing direct care for our residents while following all facility and nursing policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care, and toileting. Assisting residents to meals as needed.
  • Taking vital signs, TPR, and blood pressure; recording intake and output; changing catheter drainage bags as ordered.
  • Passing/documenting medication administration as directed by physician orders/medication administration records according to medication pass policies and procedures.
  • Observing residents and answering call bells in a timely manner to determine resident needs. Reporting any unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor and taking appropriate action.
  • Changing bed linen when indicated and collecting soiled linen according to procedure. Collecting soiled personal laundry according to procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a licensed Certified Nurse Aide in accordance with the laws of this state.
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
