As a Safety Compliance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the conduct of the workforce aligns with the safety culture of CROSS SAFETY MANAGEMENT LLC while operating on client sites. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both lagging and leading safety metrics and will advocate for a safety philosophy that meets established objectives. A thorough knowledge of site-specific safety protocols, safety apparatus, material acquisition, training prerequisites, and training documentation is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and enforce safety programs for assigned projects, identifying, mitigating, and managing hazardous conditions that could result in injury or property damage.
  • Utilize and uphold job-specific safety standards, best practices, and site-specific safety protocols to ensure the safety of all personnel and property on-site, aiming for an incident-free project.
  • Conduct regular job site inspections, either daily or weekly, as required.
  • Document findings from inspections and complete necessary reporting.
  • Investigate and document all accidents, incidents, and near misses occurring on the job site.
  • Propose and implement corrective measures in accordance with policies, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate weekly 'Toolbox Safety Meetings' and maintain records of content and attendance.
  • Provide safety orientation for new hires.
  • Advise project personnel on site-specific safety guidelines and issues.
  • Assess the need for safety training and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Receive weekly pay, with per diem available for travel beyond 60 miles, and mobilization pay for 8 hours.
  • Commit to a minimum of 12 weeks on the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 Construction Industry Certification, OSHA 500, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of safety experience within the construction sector.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
