- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status, taking prompt action to address any concerns or issues that arise.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide other treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
- Document patient assessment findings, care rendered, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies that enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a surgical intensive care unit.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
