Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Rocky Mountain Laser and Surgery Center. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide professional, direct patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document patient medical history and perform physical assessments
  • Utilize proper techniques and procedures according to accepted standards of practice and center policies and procedures
  • Apply dressings and assess patient status
  • Safely use medical equipment per manufacturer's instructions for use
  • Insert, assess, or discontinue various catheters and tubes
  • Effectively organize and avoid wasteful practices of time, equipment, and supplies
  • Observe universal precautions
  • Attend all required education
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Performance Standards
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient performance of the department
  • Function as a productive and positive member of the team
  • Conform to all RMLS policies and procedures, including punctuality, attendance, and dress codes
  • Achieve cooperation and teamwork through effective communications and positive relations with staff
  • Adhere to the company code of conduct
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • RN with active license, no restrictions (license in the appropriate state)
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • CPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS certification (as required by the center)
  • Strong ethical and moral character references
  • Basic computer skills
