Job Title: Shift Manager

At Hard Rock International (USA), Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the overall smooth operation and management of the casino Table Games operations for a particular shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have a maximum level of enjoyment and anticipated return play.
  • Offer the highest possible level of customer service, resolving customer-related issues in a timely and amicable manner.
  • Promote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.
  • Ensure the protection of customers' rewards and credit lines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attain maximum gaming product revenue, including identifying proper product mixture, positioning, and pricing levels.
  • Properly staff and schedule the Table Games department efficiently, taking into account special events, weather, and business conditions.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, friendly, and conducive work environment that promotes high productivity and engagement.
  • Support the Hard Rock culture and team philosophy throughout the department and property.
  • Act as a role model to all employees, presenting oneself as a credit to Hard Rock and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Develop team members' knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, and corrective counseling.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies, including Hard Rock's business ethics guidelines.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Hard Rock trade secrets and proprietary information.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
Requirements:
  • Ten years of casino experience, with a minimum of five years at a management level.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all table games compliance standards, regulations, and procedures.
  • Must currently be in an Assistant Shift Manager or above role.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry, preferably in Tribal Gaming.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must maintain successful completion of all required Compliance Testing.
Work Environment:

The working conditions are those typically found in an indoor, climate-controlled office environment. Will be exposed to casino-related factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds, and stress related to servicing guests in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
