We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician (Family Medicine) to join our team at the Defense Health Agency. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical exams, and diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and mental health issues.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between providers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide the highest level of care.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a family medicine residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the United States.
- At least 5 years of experience in family medicine, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
