We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist with a focus on Vestibular issues to join our team. Our services include specialized programs in Back Pain, Concussion Rehabilitation, Vestibular/Vertigo, Foot and Ankle care, Geriatrics, Head, Neck, and Facial Pain, Industrial Rehabilitation, Local School Sports, and Manual Therapy. Our strong patient base enhances our reputation for quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and create tailored treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Review physician referrals and patient medical histories to determine necessary physical therapy interventions.
  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document patient progress, findings, and instructions for patients and caregivers.
  • Oversee care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Develop a comprehensive written plan of care with specific goals based on evaluation findings.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential therapeutic interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance representatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, initial evaluations, and discharge summaries.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia state license or eligibility to obtain one, along with CPR certification.
  • Ability to design and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation treatment plans.
  • Capable of working efficiently in an independent environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS Office.
