    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Implement and manage treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve functional outcomes.
  • Patient Education and Training
    • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervision and Leadership
    • Provide supervision and guidance to occupational therapy assistants and students as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Certifications
    • SC OT Licensure from the Board of OT Examiners or OT Compact Commission.
    • BLS certification.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrate clinical competency based on patient age and needs.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
