We are seeking an experienced ECMO Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a member of our ECMO ICU team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our critically ill patients requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care to ECMO patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and maintain ECMO equipment, including pumps, oxygenators, and cannulas.
- Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, including blood pressure, cardiac output, and oxygenation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2+ years of experience in critical care, with a focus on ECMO therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Cardiovascular Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
