Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day transactions and maintenance to customer-facing inquiries, providing comprehensive information to solve customer problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound and outbound phone calls and email correspondence in response to customer inquiries, questions, or follow-up in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Be an ambassador for the Nilfisk Self Service channel, seeking commercial opportunities and escalating sales/service leads as required.
  • Develop knowledge of key customers, building meaningful relationships and driving trust in key competencies.
  • Leverage ERP, CRM, and online tools to confirm account numbers, part numbers, and descriptions, communicate pricing, availability, open orders, and ship dates to customers, and issue credits and rebills according to policy and procedure.
  • Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Entry-level to experienced; desire a minimum of 2 years inbound/outbound call experience in a customer service or manufacturing environment.
  • EDI Knowledge recommended, not required.
  • Proficiency in portal management and transactions.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage setbacks.
  • Ability to analyze problems and solve work-related issues.
  • Solid attendance and reliable.
  • Accountable, ethical, and quality-driven.
  • High level of professionalism and solutions-based decisions.
  • Team-oriented with a solution mentality.
  • Strong commercial focus.
