Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in the HFHS Department of Labor (DOL) approved apprenticeship program. You must also be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions, as well as possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Working Conditions

The 7th Floor Surgical Unit is a 23-bed unit that provides care to post-operative surgery patients and trauma patients. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring and has a rapid recovery program for joint replacement patients. As a Nurse Assistant Apprentice, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to lift, carry, transfer, and move clients as needed.
