Job Summary

The Complimentary AM Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the complimentary breakfast area of a hotel. This individual must be well-versed in hotel-brand standards, guest expectations, and the unique characteristics of the hotel and local area.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area, including restocking supplies and cleaning tables and floors.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, including specialty coffee and tea drinks and cocktails.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including side work duties and cash handling.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass a responsible serving course, such as TIPS.
  • Must be able to obtain and provide a Food Handlers card, as required by city/county/state.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
