Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Patient Preparation and Communication: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering any questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Operation of CT Equipment: Operate and calibrate the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.
  • Image Quality and Review: Review the CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
  • Patient Safety and Comfort: Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure proper patient positioning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
