Hematology Oncologist Opportunity in Eastern North Carolina

We are seeking a BE/BC Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join our cancer program at the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center in Washington, North Carolina.
About the OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a physician to join a well-established team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators, and to participate in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record.
Responsibilities- Develop treatment plans for new diagnoses in hematology oncology patients
- Oversee chemotherapy and supervise advance practice providers on follow-up patients
- Participate in tumor board and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists
- Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECUH Medical Center
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule
- Shared regional call
- Established team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators
- Advance practice provider support
- COE accredited cancer center with 13 bay infusion therapy unit, radiation therapy services, survivorship planning, patient support services, and meditation garden
