Job Description:

Saxon Global seeks an experienced Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of wind turbine mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Dispositioning failing components and executing root cause analysis
- Evaluating upgrades for wind turbine mechanical systems and equipment
- Demonstrating creativity in problem-solving and sound judgment in planning, organization, and execution of assigned work

Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant engineering work experience (design, project, test, etc.)
- Demonstrated history of professional work
- Ability to travel to wind sites as often as 5-10 days per month
- Physically capable of climbing a wind turbine and executing field work
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or higher

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Experience in project management and/or personnel supervision
- Experience with AutoCAD or Solid Works
- Experience with Maximo or similar enterprise asset management system

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and experience.
