Job Title: Psychiatry Social Worker

Location: Santa Monica, California

About the Job:

This is a part-time position in our Behavioral Health department at Kaiser Permanente. As a Psychiatry Social Worker, you will be working with an interdisciplinary team to provide direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention, and psycho-education to members and/or family members.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose members' mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address members' needs
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Conduct initial interviews with members to gather information about their mental health
  • Identify urgency of members' needs and provide timely interventions
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of members' treatment
  • Participate in Quality Management (QM) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of postgraduate experience in mental health therapy within the last 5 years
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in California
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Salary Range:$63,000 - $83,000 per year
