Job Summary
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is a key member of our anesthesia team, responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and emergency procedures. As a CRNA, you will work closely with our team of anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and emergency procedures
- Work closely with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related field
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and anesthesia
- Licensure by the SD State Board of Nursing as a CRNA
- Maintain credentials per medical staff requirements
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
- American Association of Nurse Anesthetists certification
Work Schedule
- Day shift as needed; PRN
