Job Title: Cloud-Native Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Java Developer to join our team at TechnoGen. As a member of our Global Treasury Management (GTM) ables Services team, you will be responsible for modernizing the current SinglePoint portal and developing new solutions for corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain features end-to-end in the SinglePoint application working with agile teams to execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, security, and performance in mind.
  • Define and provide governance on the architecture through code reviews and controlled merges; ensure code quality standards and best practices are upheld.
  • Review tasks critically and ensures appropriate prioritization and sizing for incremental delivery.
  • Anticipate and communicate blockers and potential delays before they require escalation.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Java 8, Spring boot, micro services architecture.
  • Knowledge of REST API design and specifications.
  • Micro services patterns like gateway, discovery, config and sidecar services.
  • Spring integration with Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ.
  • Deployment tools using Docker, Kubernetes and overall DevOps.
  • Experience in RDBMS like DB2, Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck.
  • GIT version control and merge management.

Additional Information:

This role will be part of a virtual and agile team, working with a mix of FTEs and offshore contractors. The tech stack in use includes Microservices: Java, J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot, RESTful web services, Kafka, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate. Micro front-end: ReactJS, SASS, Webpack (Module Federation), common (Shield) libraries. Databases: Cassandra, DB2. Development tools: JIRA, IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio code), Zephyr. Testing/automation framework: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright. Deployment tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, ServiceNow. Streaming: Kafka. Monitoring: Splunk, Kibana.
