Truss Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Truss Designer to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of our construction solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting truss systems using advanced software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop truss designs that comply with industry standards and local building codes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints
  • Perform load calculations to ensure truss systems can withstand anticipated stresses
  • Generate detailed truss layout drawings, including specifications and materials lists
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all truss designs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to truss design
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Truss Designer in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in truss design software
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
