The Associate Finance Manager serves as a crucial financial ally, supporting essential financial and planning initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable insights to the Sales Team, ensuring financial targets are met, forecasts are precise, and customer profitability is thoroughly assessed.
- Contribute to the Company’s Rolling Forecast Process, providing analysis and commentary, and managing mid-month and D-2 updates.
- Collaborate closely to oversee all month-end close deliverables.
- Partner with the Finance Director during the GPS Forecast process and co-facilitate key meetings throughout the forecasting cycle.
- Provide in-depth analysis of business performance to the Finance Director/VP Finance and conduct ad-hoc analyses that drive problem-solving and business enhancement strategies.
- Support the delivery of Profitable Revenue Growth Management by implementing new processes, tools, training, and analytical methods.
- Challenge yourself and your business partners to meet objectives while implementing process enhancements to optimize financial analysis tools in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Innovate in creating dashboards and conduct quarterly training sessions to introduce new operational methodologies.
- Act as a vital link to Demand Planning and Sales/Category teams.
- Represent the Finance function in category team meetings by presenting financial outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively as an integral member of the Topline team.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to summarize and present findings effectively.
- Experience in managing P&L and financial processes is essential.
- Sales Finance and ROI experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficient Excel skills and adeptness in working with data across various systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective calendar management and prioritization abilities.
