Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and CA License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
