Job Description

KE Camps is a leading provider of summer camps for country clubs nationwide. We partner with over 230 private clubs across the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children.

This role involves working as an active participant in all camp activities and assisting the Camp Director with daily tasks to create a memorable and meaningful experience for campers. As a Camp Counselor, you will interact with campers throughout the day, helping them make friends, try new things, and ensuring their physical and emotional safety.

Camp Counselors must have prior experience working with children and possess qualities such as ability to help children grow in character, guard their health and well-being at all times, sustain energy for participation in activities, and remain enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, consistent, level-headed, flexible, and calm in all situations.

Camp Counselor Responsibilities:

  • Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
  • Cooperate with fellow Counselors and the Camp Director.
  • Greet families and campers upon arrival.
  • Support the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers.
  • Participate in all camp activities.
  • Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water.
  • Help out where needed and lead activities when asked by the Camp Director.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
